Competencia IEEE para alumnos en áreas relacionadas con comunicaciones


I. Project: Students Outreach Competition
Award: Scholarship

In your section or chapter can you identify 1 or more person passionate about applying technology to help the community? Then you are qualified.

This opportunity is open to Grad or undergraduate students in your region.

Participants can be a team of 1-4 persons.
Multiple teams can enter the competition.

Competition starts early November and submissions are due by end of November.

A team of judges will evaluate all the submissions. 
The top three winners will be announced for each region by mid December

 The top three winning teams will qualify for Awards:
Awards per region consists of 3 scholarship and a certificate
1 st award value $1,500
2 nd award $1,000
3 rd award $500


Requirement
Each student team is to write and submit a paper  (6-8 pages plus graphs and illustrations) on a Student Community Outreach Project focusing on serving the community using technologies such ass IoT, AI and cloud. Examples: Patient fall detection, air quality tracking, …etc.

The deliverable is paper (MS Word) including:

Abstract

End of October - Notify potential students
 November 30 – Submission
December 1-14 – Evaluation and selection of the top three winners in each region
Submission by individuals or teams will be evaluated by a panel of judges to determine the top 3 winners.
